The epicureans of Greater Montreal know exactly where the Aromate Bistros are located. They love the colours – a combination of soft green, cream and espresso – the ambiance and the aromas.

Located in Montréal and Laval, these resto-bars are friendly, warm and very intimate. “We want people to feel appreciated, pampered and recognized", the owner, Jean-François Plante, affirms with conviction who promises customers meals overflowing with flavour and pleasure!

Even if, according to him, the cuisine is simple, it is in no way simplistic. The meals served are inspired from French cuisine with an Oriental, Mediterranean, Provencal and Italian flare. You need only glance at the menu to see the importance we place on the combinations of flavours. What would you say about a duck foie gras terrine with chutney made of dried  Saint-Raphaël cranberries? À filet of salmon cooked in olive oil and lemon with tomato and mango salsa? Or a filet of beef covered with herbs and spices served with melted garlic and mayonnaise sauce, fried onions and porto-veal glaze with shallots? Mmmm!

Of course, the owner of the two Aromate bistros attributes great importance to food, but he is also as concerned about the ambiance. This is why his bar is “the” place to talk and fraternize. You can enjoy a wonderful meal or spend an evening drinking and eating with friends. Everything at the Aromate bistros is designed so that the customers feel at home!

Did you know…

… that over the past few years, Jean-François Plante and his team have created products also named Aromate? The range of products is now undergoing a change and will be back on the shelves of the Aromate bistros and fine grocery stores in the spring. Keep an eye out for them!
